Ya'acov Levy 1952-2004
Ya'acov
was wise, modest, noble, a man of words – a man of few words, a gifted
lexicographer. He usually prefered not to talk or write about his
dictionary-making but let it speak for itself. Indeed, he has had a decisive
impact upon English/Hebrew lexicography in Ya'acov Levy died young,
before having realized his finest dictionary dreams. His legacy shall live
on.
